help?

Can anyone please choose the best out of these two sentence?

1. An undercover cop, ACP Jayaseelan, is in the mission to bring down villains, and vows to put the crimes to halt. He succeeds in his mission, but the crimes continue.

2. A cop gets killed by a local gang and assistant commissioner Jayaseelan exterminates the gang by way of unofficial encounters and rid the city of all the negative elements, but nothing can stop their crimes.

If the reader knows which villains are referred to.
