Could you tell me the difference between typically and normally? Or they are synonym?

Top answer

Normally, a person’s blood temperature is around 98 degrees Fahrenheit or 37 degrees Celsius; but when they are ill their temperature is typically a few degrees higher. A person’s usual or expected temperature is 98F, but in times of stress it typically goes up. I use both words, but ‘typically’ has to do with a described event or situation; whereas ‘normally’ expresses what would be expected without any special situation.
