Sometime people say "You bad" when I say thank you for something, What does that mean?

Top answer

"You bad" is street slang for "you are bad," meaning either "you are good" or "you have defied convention," both said in an admiring way. Neither one seems a particularly appropriate response to a simple thank you.

Micheal Jackson used "Who's bad" in his song, which means who's good or cool in the slang.

Words would sometimes acquire the opposite meaning in any languages.
In this case they want to tell the good/kindness of the man badly in their rude manner and they think it as a cool style.
