'w' is the woman's present age; 'd' is the daughter's present age.
w = 4d
w+20 = 2(d+20) =2d +40
4d +20 = 2d +40
2d +20 = 40
2d =20; d

This is 2013. If she lives that long, the woman will be 100 years old in 2073. Does that help?
