Help!!!!!!

what's the diference between using geround or infinitive about the verbs like: try,remember,regret,attempt?! could you please explain about meanings of them?

This may not be the answer that you expect but that is how the language is formed. Certain verbs behave and work differently with infinitve context and gerund context. Sometimes, either one satisfies the context, but not always. Let's try a few:
