I have generally an optimistic view of the future, I think that it's all going to be more simple than in the past.
The bad thing is that when all is regulated by a computer or an electronic system, if anything goes wrong with just a little part of this, all the rest can’t work.
That’s a disadvantage, but I’m always thinking that the most are positive things.
Also for elderly or for handicapped the progress can be a really good thing, because maybe they are going to invent any strategy to allow them a better life, for example with serviceability in shops or special steps or something that can transform a disabled person in a normal and healthy person.
In this ground we can include the progress of the medicine, which can do miracles and even change the future of people.
What about nature?
Under this aspect I can say that I have a really pessimistic view. Already now in the nature, in the weather something is going to be wrong. In last years many earthquakes, seaquakes, hurricanes had entirely destroyed inhabited areas, causing death and devastation.
Maybe in the future the technology can do something with alternative energies or do anything to heal the ozone hole.
The thing about I’ve fear is the future of feelings. Already now, people say “I love you” for the first time by sms or by chat or in others squalid ways. When I hear something so I’m really scared!
How can you replace love, the best feeling humans know, with a simple sentence, written by a headrest and often shorten like: “I lov u” ?!
In this way I see the future under a very pessimistic view, but often e-mails, sms and generally mobile-phones, computer can facilitate the life and long-distance relationships, but they can worsen real relationship. Also books are going to be avoided, considered an ancient and very uncomfortable way to learn, way to facilitate research for school, job (etc.).
Nevertheless at the beginning of my essay I’ve said that I’ve mainly an optimistic view, because I’m using computer, mobile-phone and I love this kind of technology, but I think that we need to use them cleverly, like many doesn’t.
