HELP

CAn anyone help me with english please?Recently a friend of mine have sent me a gift and I have recived it last Monday.Can i reply to him like this

It sounds OK to me, but I'd rewrite the first part of your sentence: "Last Monday I receiv ed your lovely gift, for which I would like to thank you very much". (You can't use the present perfect with "last Monday", since it's past it has to be the simple past).
