When they lend aid for the poor nations, they might have a commitment fund to export a considerable amount of goods to the poor nations, which strengthens their economic power. The more funds the poor nations received, the more impact the rich ones gain. As a result, the rich nations have more political and economical control under not only the poor ones but also the international. For example, research shows that Vietnam is given a lot of ODA and FDI which are kind of financial assistant form the USA, which leads to our economic’s dependence on the USA.
