Hello, would a native speaker help me correct these?

Could you please help me correct these sentences please?

1 How to make sure whether you can use that?

2 As a kid, my father would always be on my back about cleaning my room. Now I'm as anal as him.

3 You never know when that can come in handy.

4 I have enough soap for one last round of dishes.

5 I hope I recieve your letter tomorrow. That's the last day I can go to my mailbox since I'm leaving on for vacation.

Thank you so much

1 isn't a complete sentence. I can't fix it, since I'm missing information. 2 is fine, but ambiguous.

Thank you Vorpar,

For the first one

How to make sure whether to use that. (I know it's not complete, I'm sorry but is it correct to use "whether"?

for 4 is it natural to say "for a round of dishes"?

Thank you so much

"Whether" is fine.

"A round of dishes" sounds ok to me, though it's not a common expression. "Sinkful of dishes" or "the last few dishes" would sound a bit more natural, but there's nothing wrong with what you said.
