Hello, this is an ielts writing task 1, topic: Maps. Thanks for checking my mistakes ;)
TOPIC: The maps below show the changes in the art gallery ground floor in 2015 and present day.
The maps illustrate the differences in the ground floor of an art gallery in 2005 and now.
Overall, the art gallery was improved with more modern services and complex zones. However, the spaces of each zones were mostly restricted nowadays.
The cafe in the gallery in 2005 was replaced by a gallery shop which is just in the corner. A new lift was constructed next to the stairs, thus the space for gallery shop was more narrow than it was in 2005. At the same time, a gallery office was demolished for the construction of a vending machine, the barrier linked to this room was knocked down in present day. Yet, the space for exhibition zoom in 2005 was divided into 2 zones for temporary exhibition and an area for children. The receptionist was moved to nearer space with the entrance hall. However, 3 rooms used for exhibition which are on the right of the receptionist and the entrance hall as well as the stairs remained the same in over period of about 10 years.
(Can you give me some conjunctions to use in writing task 1 please. I just know "however, yet, in contrast, by contrast... is there any appropriate conjunction with the same meaning as "however" i can use here?)
