hello there!

I translated some sentences into English. Are my sentences correct?
A:"My wife died last year. She has been ill for 5 months. I was watching at her bedside, I always was near her. But one day I went out for a minute and when I came back she was dead!"
B:"I think God did not want you to see her death."
