TOPIC: Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world, others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. Discuss both these views and give your opinion.
Some people believe that knowledge, special in science, commerce or academic fields should be publicized spreadly. Others argue that it is not good to share all information because of its precious and vital features and I strongly agree with the second statement.
On one hand, people who support the first idea maybe believe that we are living together in the world so each person takes duties and benefits in access the information. Also, different knowledge in vast fields could mutually support and develop one another If they do not do that, it would take them much more time to achieve targets. For example, in finding the way to treat malaria, scientists' results and biologists' ones have contributed together to explore what the reason for this epidemic is and its cure.
On the other hand, some people believe that precious or vital information should not be shared widely and I think it is better to do that because of these reasons:
First, everybody knows that it is really hard to get new knowledge in any fields, especially if that information involves in science and biology since researchers have to work nonstop to find the truth and in some cases, information could cost their health or even their lives. For example, in researching the way to treat HIV- the 21st epidemic, researchers had approached many people who suffer this sickness to carry out researches, experiments so they would be potentially affected HIV.
Second, if all of the information is publicized, the number of crimes could increase highly and greatly since criminals would take advantage of the results of researches to make sins. Everyone knows that cyber crime or hackers have recently gone up and threatened a security of the world, there are a lot of incidents that were related to hackers, especially the incident of hacking innocent people’s ID and taking their money away.
In conclusion, there are convincing arguments both for and against the topic “ should information be shared as much as possible” but I believe that people should limit to share the valuable, vital information freely.
