TOPIC: As the number of cars increases, more money has to be spent on road systems. Some people think the government should pay for this. Others think the drivers should cover the cost. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
As the rising number of cars, many countries have faced several serious problems of traffic. While some people think the cost of buiding road systems should be paid by the government, others believe it is better for individual drivers to cover it. Personally, i agree that both drivers and authorities should spend money for road systems.
Government should make payments for the improvement of road systems. First and foremost, it can not be denied that road taxation which is paid by citizens every year is for certain development of the road systems. Therefore, the government should make use of this main revenue well instead of receiving more for better road systems. In addition, governments hold responsible for high standard of living of their citizens. Thus, they have to cut down the outlay in some frontiers temporarily to take the improvement of road systems as the first priority.
Meanwhile, drivers are also considered to pay for the road systems. The taxation and other provisions may not be enough for building the greater road systems. Hence, more money should be spent by individuals until this issue is solved. Furthermore, having to pay more for traffic also makes each driver take responsibility for making the traffic less serious and better. For instance, people will follow the traffic rules and regulations more or commute by public transports instead of by cars to reduce the number of cars in their city.
In conclusion, while some people think governments should spend money for road systems, others think the drivers should do it instead. However, I totally believe the responsibility should be shared between governments and individual drivers for the fair, respect and perfect life.
