Enterprises are always opined to have intention of maximuming profits from business activities. I believe that they should also have social obligations while generating profit is the top priority.

On the one hand, there are a variety of reasons why enterprises had better pay more attention to their social responsibilities. The first reason is that one of the biggest missions of a company is to manufacture types of valuable products that do wonders for the residents. Doing business is something that’s not as easy as it is expected because high-quality products should be made to meet the daily needs of the human. The second one is that these business activities a big impact on the environment. The production processes have resulted in serious environmental degradations such as global warming, green house and so on. If these happen for a long time, it certainly does more harm to the human’s health.

On the other hand, I also believe that enterprises need to earn money for 2 main following reasons. Firstly, making profits helps to maintain and boost the development of a business as well as a country. Running a company is something that needs to have a huge budget to meet all the costs from business such as the staffs’ salary payment, machine operation and other things. What’s more, the more profits a firm generates, the more taxes it must pay for the government, which make a great contribution to the prosperity of a country. Secondly, businesses can’t do anything to support the communities without money. Most of the charities and scholarships are taken from a budget of the company, so it can’t possibly happen without this profits.

In conclusion, I’m of the opinion that enterprises, besides making profits to maintain and boost their development, should also focus more on their social obligations.
