According to the charts, the were significant rises in proportion of water used in service industry and household. The water use of service industry increased dramatically by 12%, from 13% in 1997 to 25% in 2007. Household also had a slight rise in water use, from 19% to 21%, between 1997 and 2007.
Contrast to proportion of water usage in service industry and household, there were a significant decrease in building, manufacturing and food industry. In the period of 1997-2007, water use decreased by 7% and 4% in food industry and manufacturing, respectively. In building industry, the water use had a nose-diving, decreased by over a half from 5% to 2%.
