A week in Spain ? That was it!

Thanks to Comenius project I had the chance to participate in a one week exchange in the south of Spain - Lepe. I began my Spanish adventure on Sunday afternoon on the 31st of September and belive me or not, it was the best time I’ve ever had in my life.
Throughout the week I was hosted by a fantastic girl - Estefania. She is very kind, friendly and beautiful. Although she is a year older than me, I didn’t feel any age difference between us. I felt as if we had known each other for many years before we met. What’s more, I treated her like my own sister.

Beside project work, attending classes in the Spanish school and socializing, we visited many fascinating places in the neighbourhood. I especially enjoyed Sevilla where I took millions of photos. The trip to Aracena and Huelva also left unforgettable impressions on me. There I saw 'Las Maravillas Grotto' and the church, from which I could enjoy the
picturesque view of the mountains. The visit to Doñana National Park was
an incredible experience. It was the first time in my life I had taken a ride in a for-wheel car along the golden sandy beach stretching up for many kilometers. Nothing escaped my attention there. I was amazed by the wild nature and surprised to see familiar animals such as deers or wild boars.

Spain is a country rich in culture and admirable beautiful landscapes: beaches stretching over the Atlantic Ocean, narrow streets with white buildings on both sides, historical monuments, unusual views of palm, lemon and orange trees - just amazing!
This is a very kind nation, friendly for foreigners, and above
all very welcoming. This is what I experienced there. Spaniards turned out to be
very open and smiling people, who love the dancing and good Spanish music.

Throughout the stay in Lepe, I realized that we became one big European family. When the end of the week came, it was hard to say goodbye. I still miss all the friends I met during the exchange.
