- you don't need to come for a medical committe on thur, you should call philp to thanks him for helping you.

The first one is ok, imho, the second one should read "You don't need to come for a medical committee on Thursday. You should call Philip and thank him for helping you (out)".

One doesn't usually 'come for a committee'. One 'comes for a committee meeting'.
