Hello to everybody. I have studied English for six mounths. And I want to learn about all of it. You think, what should I do for this target?Thanks for all replies...

Music is a great teacher. Listen to music in English that you like very much. Read the lyrics (the words to the songs) and sing along. This builds pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and general fluency. I credit the great Mexican singer Jose Jose with having taught me Spanish. Listen to songs that are clear and easy to understand. The Beatles have a lot of good songs. Their pronunciation is good and clear, their grammar is usually correct, and the songs are fairly easy to understand. Today's music has a lot to offer, too. Sam Smith, Maroon 5, and Bruno Mars are just a few good choices. The good thing about music is that you can take it with you. It's also fun to listen to again and again. Another thing is that you will learn the songs and probably have them in your mind. You can sing them when you are cleaning the house, washing the car, or taking a bath. Well, that is one good idea. Another good idea is to watch television and movies. You can put on the subtitles in English for help if you need it or want it.

Try to learn English in English. By that, I mean you should avoid translating. A lot of students think it is a good idea to write out a paper in their native language and then translate it into English. This is not a good idea. In the first place, you don't know enough English to be translating. If you did, you wouldn't be studying it. Secondly, English is not the person's native language with English words substituted for their language's words. The grammar of the two languages are just different. Try to start in English with the English that you know.

Use an all English dictionary for looking up new words in English. Use a dual language dictionary only to look up words you are thinking of in your native language that you don't know how to say in English.

Be careful asking native speakers who are not teachers for help. They are good models of pronunciation and can explain what something means fairly well, but most native speakers do not know much about grammar. If you ask them why something is the way it is, they may give you wrong information because they will be guessing at what seems logical to them. You can pronounce for them and ask if you are pronouncing well. You can ask them to read something to you so you can hear how it sounds.

Use every opportunity you can to speak English. If you live in an area where your native language and English are both spoken about equally, try to conduct your day in English as much as you can. Make new friends who speak only English or at least speak it fluently.

Read local newspapers and find a magazine about something of interest to you. And you can learn a lot reading the advertisements, too.

There are a lot of things you can do, but these are just a few I like that you can do in addition to your formal studying of English.
