Is it Ok to say to a close friend: You look hell of great? (meaning you look gorgeous)

As I was retiring 8 years ago, I commonly heard "hella" as an

It can go with "as," too: He was mad as ****. I'm tired as **** of having to clean up after you guys---you're messy as ****.

And while of course there's the ever-popular, "hot as ****," you can even say "It was cold as **** in there," and be understood to mean that it was very, very cold.

A variation my mother used to employ is a bit more literal: "old as the hinges of ****."
