Vocabulary

hell [ interjection]

Dear teachers,

I can't understand what " hell" means in the TV show( how I met your mother).

Marshall calls her fiancee Lilly to take off her ring at the bar and allows her to hang out with guys.
A couple of hours later, He calls her up to check her but instead, her friend Robin takes it and have a conversation:

Robin: Lilly's phone.
Marshall: Robin? Where's Lilly?
Robin: She's ahhh ( doesn't want to rat her out)

Marshall: is she talking to some hot guy? You can tell me. It was totally cool it was my idea. (("Hell")), I told her she could take the ring off.

Thank you very much for your fast reply .
Is it used to convey that something is not important and doesn't affect me?
Would you please give me one or two examples where " ****" is used?

No, when used like this it doesn't have a real meaning of its own. It's just used to add emphasis to what follows.

Mike2015examples where " ****" is used?
Here are some based on what I found on fraze.it. They are the usage that we're talking about here. They don't always make sense when they are not presented in context. Note that the word does not always signal that what follows is trivial.

I question whether you should be learning this at all. So many
