Hell, Heaven, God without articles?

Hello all.

Is it true you don't use any article with these words?

As proper nouns, in a context where there is imagined to be just one of each, there is a capital letter and no article. If there are imagined to be several, or you are using the word as a common noun, then there may be an article: "a Roman ***", "the **** that is modern dating".

I will need to see the sentence, but if you are capitalizing the terms, probably no article.
