Can I say,

(a) My elderst brother helped us to do homework.

(b) He helped his children to finish homework after dinner.

(c) He helped to do his kid's homework.

(d) His father helped his children to teach them homework.

(e) He helped his chidren after dinner.

(f) The boy helped to sweep the floor.

To my ear, all the sentences with "to" sound awkward. (d) is particularly confusing to me. Did he teach them how to do the homeword?

To my ear, all the sentences with "to" sound awkward.

(d) is particularly confusing to me. Did he teach them how to do the homeword? helped do the homework?

ok, how about :

His father helped his children homework.

Grammatically, you are not supposed to use 'to' with the verb 'help'.
"You help someone do something."
As in:
"He helped his children finish their homework."
