Heavily,

Hi,

I came across this sentence reads 'Debaters should not read heavily from the scripts.' My questions is does heavily collocate with read? Does ' read literally drom the script' sound better?

Thanks.

  • No.

  • The idea, I believe, is that debaters should not depend a great deal on the scripts but should be more spontaneous in their speech.
