Is Rotana Heads a person? Then say "his" or "her" performance, instead of "the."

Usually it doesn't give someone immense pleasure to congratulate. You may be immensely pleased to announce that someone has won an award.

It gives me immense (I prefer "tremendous") pleasure to announce that Rotana Heads has been designated to received the Exceptional Employee of the Year Award.
