Heard this on a tv show

I heard this on a tv show and feel the order of the clauses is not natural. What do you think?
A wife says this to the mother of the person in a coma.
I'm the one he decided to choose what happens to him if he's incapacitated. You have no say it the matter.

Thank you

The "to" in that sentence is the problem. An appropriate modal (e.g. will, would) in place of that "to" would fix the sentence.

Also, "in the matter".

I think I'd use "should" or "would" instead of to.
