Healthy Lifestyle VS. Treatment For Sick People

It is more important to spend public money promoting a healthy lifestyle that to spend it on the treatment of people who are already ill. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

A number of people have the thought that utilizing money to provide humans with several steps to keep them healthy is more necessary than cure sick patients. My view on this matter is that both of them are equally indispensable to maintain one’s live.

First of all, when residents are given ways to protect themselves from serious diseases, it means that they are able to boot immune systems which makes them healthier to heal of any syndrome. Were this situation not to happen, people would probably be ignorant about what to do to stay fit and would pay so much for medicines, painkillers, curing fees and treatment once they were ill. Second of all, campaigns on healthy life cost less money to do. For instance, governments just need to spend a little amount of money buying banners which are written information about keeping healthy and stuck in walls for people to see, or making a short TV commercial. For this reason, I believe that this measure is not money-consuming and time-consuming for governments to help their citizens achieve good health.

Nevertheless, I still emphasize the value of cure. If it were not invested much money, a virus, for example, would widely spread and affect a huge number of people which made it stronger. Hence, it seems to me that it would be able to deaden a healthy person since doctors did not have modern machines and effective techniques to stop the virus. Another reasonable merit of it is that a country will develop more if proper treatments are taken. Some poorly patients must be bosses, outstanding students, presidents and celebrities who have a great contribution to societies, economy and other fields. Thus, were there not good hospitals, sufficient methods and vaccines, they would die and there would be no one replacing them to shoulder the responsibilities and work to make their country less underdeveloped.

As has been shown above, I claim that healthcare introduces and medical are worthwhile to be given the same financial supports due to their equally crucial roles to lives.
