Respiratory system
The respiration method consists of breathing in oxygen and breathing out carbon dioxide. Normally we breathe 20,000 times a day and 600,000,000 time in alife time. The respiratory system has 5 parts which they are nose, throat, voice box, windpipe and lungs. The nostrils filter, warm and wet the incoming air into it. The cilia which it small hairs that’s clean dirt and other elements in the air that goes into the lungs.
The pharanx is found at the back of the throat, which transfers both the food and air and is used for digestion and respiration. The pharanx divides into two parts one called the oesophagus it leads to the stomach and the other side is for the air and its called trachea. A small area of tissue called the epiglottis allow the air only pass in when we swallow, the larynx is placed above the trachea and it where the vocal cords are.
The trachea kept open by the harsh rings of cartilage, the trachea also it lined with tiny hair they remove foreign particales and solids out of the airway, keeping them from entering the lungs. The trachea divide into 3 parts that called bronchioles and alveoli.
The oxygen enter the blood stream by going from alveoli and through the capillaries. The diaphragm is a muscle at the bottom of the lungs, during inhalation, the diaphragm and rib cage magnify the chest hole, where it cause the lungs to draw in air and oxygen. During exhalation the diaphragm and muscles of the rib cage relax, letting the lungs to release the air, where it cause the lungs to squeezes and get out carbon dioxide waste.

• The smoker’s heart beat 10 to 12 time more than non smokers.
• Also the smoker is 15% more likely to get a heart attack, slow understanding, crinkled skin and reduced power because of high carbon dioxide in the blood.
