I'm sorry for my headstrong actions which upset everyone last night. Thank you for your forgiveness, and know that I will work hard to try to control myself and never repeat what happened.

Is that about right?

It's good that you are saying that you are sorry for your actions, instead of saying you're sorry that people were upset by your actions. The first shows you take responsibility for what you did, but the latter says it's too bad people are upset by you.
