Heads roll off

Hi everyone. There's a song named "Heads roll off" by "Frightened Rabbit" i can't find the meaning of roll off, unfortunately. I know of roll up which is used for sleeves for example but couldn't find this one. I'd appreciate if anyone could give a hand. You're more than welcome to explain even some more phrasal verb with roll Emotion: smile

It can be very hard to interpret pop song titles and lyrics. Often they are semi-random wordplay and imagery. In this case, I understand "Heads roll off" to be referring to decapitation.
