Head up and back sideward

Hi

The head movements are flexion (head tilted forward), extension (head tilted backward), lateral flexion and extension (head up and back sideward) and rotation.

--- Does it just mean tilting head to the sides (left, right)?

By the way: Does "extension" mean the same as "stretching"?
