Head-swollen

Can you say head-swollen as an adjective?

Like,
Head-swollen I was pondering over my studies.

Swollen-headed would mean proud, clearly not what I want.

No, you cannot. "Swell/swollen" is a verb. The only time it is used as an adjective is to indicate "excellent" or "stylish." And the only time it is used as a noun is to refer to a "wave."
