head of beer

Is this sentence natural? Do you say 'go to the head?
I like to put peach syrup in my beer. The peach syrup seems to go to the head as the head taste more peachy than the beer itself.

Thank you

In (US) English the phrase "go to the head" means to go to the bathroom, so this might be better said as: I like to put peach syrup in my beer. The syrup goes to the froth, giving it a peachy taste, while the rest of the beer tastes normal.
