'He underwent disorientation after taking a massive amount of drugs'

Can I say 'He underwent disorientation after taking a massive amount of drugs' ?   Could 'disorientation' be used in this way?  Does it sound natural to you? Thank you .Best wishes,PBF

I would say "He suffered (from) considerable disorientation after taking drugs."

The verb "to undergo" is used in a slightly different way:

"He underwent the treatment over several weeks."

I was wondering whether it would still sound natural if I left out 'considerable' or add 'a massive amount of' before 'drugs'. i.e. "He suffered from disorientation after taking drugs." and "he suffered from disorientation after taking a massive amount of drugs".

Could you explain when we would use the verb 'to undergo', please? I don't really know when to use it.
