He talked about/of...

Hi

Could you please tell me if her accent is British? Also, what does she say at?

2:18 (he talked of family matters?)

Thanks,

Tom

Her accent is clearly educated Indian (technically Pakistani), though it is close to British. I was not surprised to learn that that English was her first language and that she spent four years at Oxford University. She said "He talked family matters".

Thanks, fivejed.

So "talk something" is a fixed phrase?

He talked only politics to me. (Is this a natural sentence?)

I personally wouldn't say 'fixed phrase', but it's idiomatic enough.
