Could you please tell me (as a native speaker) which of the following sentences sounds better to you?

He stormed out of the room in a fit of peaque shouting that he had been misunderstood.

He stormed out of the room peaqued, shouting that he had been misunderstood.

Only the first would be used by a native speaker but I think I would put a comma after "pique." Note that the word you want is spelled "pique."
