All except number 4.

It should be: I know him. He was in Titanic.

If he were on Titanic, it might be misconstrued that he was on the Titanic (the ship itself).

2. [James Cameron] cast him in Titanic.

4. I know him. He was in Titanic.

The others are fine. I italicized and underlined the examples, as this is for academic writing. It isn't truly important to do this informally.

Hi,

Q1) You mean all are fine? and also the verb in #2 can be replaced with cast?

Q2) and you think #4 is also OK when JohnParis says it can be misconstrued?

Q3) Which do you think is more casual #4 or #5?

A3) Number 4, if writ

Hi,

Sorry John. As you said, I might not have paid attention to the answers.

I thought Vorpar's answer for #2 is another option; only the replacement of the verb.

and the rest of two questions,, yeah.. thank you...

In #2 I replaced "starred" with "cast", because I don't believe that "starred" makes for correct syntax in that example. In AmE, at least.
