'He runs quickly' or 'he quickly runs'

Plz help me with the positions of adverbs.
Adv may come after the direct object (He drives the car carefully) or before the verb (he carefully drives to the gate) or even after the verb (He drives carefully) Is that correct, are these sentences all acceptable?
One more:
is 'He drives very carefully' right since the verb 'drives' is modified by 'very'?

AnonymousHe drives the car carefully. He drives carefully.
Normal. Fine.
AnonymousHe carefully drives to the gate.
OK, but not as usual as He drives carefully to the gate or He drives to the gate carefully.

Adverbs of manner are usually placed after the verb or near the end of the sentence.
