He is so rich that he can buy it

Can I use can, will, etc with so...that structure like 'He is so rich that he can buy it'? What do you native English speakers think? Thank you so much as usual in advance.

Hi Both options are possible (with different meanings): - He is so rich that he can buy it (He can do so if he wants to) - He is so rich that he will buy it (He can do so and, because he can, I think he will) Dave

Both options are possible (with different meanings):

- He is so rich that he can buy it
(He can do so if he wants to)

- He is so rich that he will buy it
(He can do so and, because he can, I think he will)
