Vocabulary

He is gone. The car is gone. The friendship is gone.

Hi,

I assume "he is gone" could be interpreted:
1) He is dead.
2) He left here. He is not here. But he will come back sometime.
For example: Kids wake up in the morning and find Daddy is not at home. Mommy says: Daddy is gone; he will come back after work.
3) He is alive, but he left here permanently. In other words, he will not come back.

"The car is gone" can be interpreted in my opinion:
1) The car left here. Minutes ago, it was here.
For example: "That beetle car is gone," said the little boy. "A few minutes ago, it parked here. It is very cool."
2) The car is ruined in a car accident. It cannot be used anymore.
3) The car is in good condition, but it has been sold.

Lastly, "the friendship is gone" means in my opinion:
1) The friendship ends.

What do you think?
