He is asking me £2000 for the car ???

I'm sorry for asking you the similar question like just before. I couldn't find a proper example which I want in my dictionary.

eg) He's asking £2000 for the car.

This expression is grammatically right. But I want to put "me" or "to me" there. Can I write

eg1) He is asking me £2000 for the car
eg2) He is asking £2000 for the car to me.

Are eg1) and eg2) both okay? Does it means that I can use "ask" as ditransitive verb with 2 objects sometimes ?

Son JamesHe is asking me £2000 for the car.
This is OK grammatically, but we usually use this form without "me" just to say the price of the car in general.

He'll sell me the car for £2000 is another way to say it.
Son JamesHe is asking £2000 for the car to me.
This is not OK.

I see. I can put "me" or "to me" in such expression in my mother tongue. I just want to know what is the difference between English and my mother tongue. I think that all of the sentences by my own language can be translated into English. I've learned that sometimes I couldn't it thanks to you. Thank you for teaching,Grammarfreaak
