He is a sport star. / a sports star.

He is a sport star. / a sports star.

Which one is natural to you and could tell me the reason? I think that the expression, "a sport star" is natural and correct, but I have heard of only a sports star, but he is not a star from all sports, so a sport star, in other words, a singular form is natural and correct, I think. What do you native English speakers think?

Thank you.
