He has been feeling bad since he …….. his job.
a)lost (Answer Key)
b)loses
c)had lost
d)will lose

Hello,
I say to myself that D (will lose) can also work. Because:

He has been feeling bad since (because) he will lose (is about to lose) his job.

Aren't I right?

Thank you.

You are marginally right, but in that case I would expect a comma after 'bad'. I cannot tell you why, and it is a minor point.
