Hi,

He could be very reliable by his friends' standard(s). However, he might still not have a good credit rating according to the standard of credit rating companies

Thanks, Hoa.

I find that you use "He have a good credit..." So, is it (a) optional?

If I wrote "he might not still have a good credit," it is incorrect, because credit is uncountable. "He had good credit" or "he had a good credit rating" is fine.
