I know that usually we say 'breakfast' without an article to express breakfast in general. Should I also say it this way in the context below or sentence #2 would be better here?
1) He had a bit of egg on his tie from breakfast.
2) He had a bit of egg on his tie from his breakfast.
Both are fine there, Reegis, but you don't need 'his': we know whose breakfast it was.
