Hi, here I don't understand "limits"... can you please explain that when it refer to briliance?

He got to the limits of his brilliance, put God in and said: "God fixes it". There you have it. This kept going and by the way, Newton, I, count as the most brilliant guy that ever was. Hmm, it's up to you whether you want to aspire to become Newton because when he died, he was a virgin.
