He did it again. VS. He did it a second time.
Do you native English speakers feel meaning difference? I think that they mean the same. What do you think?

Well, "again" isn't restricted to "a second time". He could have done it numerous times.

Well, "again" isn't restricted to "a second time". He could have done it numerous times.

"Again" doesn't necessarily mean "a second time"–it could be the third time, the fourth, the fifth, etc.
They can be brought to mean the same by a specific context: He did it once in 2005, and again in 2008.
