He brought the book to/for me.

Hi teachers!

Please check the following sentences and let me know which one is the same as sentence 1 in meaning.

1. He brought me the book.

2. He brought the book to me.

3. He brought the book for me.

Actually in Korea, we have learned that 2 is the proper change of 1, but a few days ago I came across a sentence like 3 and became wondered which is correct and how native speakers say.

Also, the sentence below always makes me confused.

4. This brought me to tears.

I am like why not 'this brought tears to me'
