Do predicate adjectives cheap and secondhand have adverbial interpretation in sentences above?

I think they have the adverbial relation to the verb "bought" and both can be replaced by other adjuncts with the adverbial characteristic:

He bought his car for a song.

He bought his car from a secondhand-car dealer.
