Having trouble understanding how to phrase sentences?

Hello

I'd like to explain something to you.
I understand that to use MORE you need to compare two things: Which means I thing these are correct?

1 As the years go by I cry more and more./The more the years go by, the more I cry.
2 The later you take the subway, the larger the interval between trains will be./the few(er) trains there will be.
but you can't say:
As time goes by, the less you'll want to see her.
as you're comparing one thing???
I read in another post, (a memeber) said that "As time goes by, the less you'll want to see her." was the correct way of saying it,
I think it should be
As time goes by, you'll want to see her less and less.

In the following thread, there are examples, could you tell me how to say them please. I'll understand it so much better if you don't mind and have some time.

Thank you so much
