Having trouble saying this

Could you tell me how this could correctly be said?
When trying to turn to the back end of the binder, dont attempt to turn all the pieces of paper at once. Turn them all in a few goes so that the rings don't open and papers come flying out.

If you don't punch all the papers together in one go/ at a time, the holes won't be aligned. Yesterday when I was transferring papers from one binder to another, I found that the holes weren't aligned so I ended up transfering 1 page at a time instead of all 30 pages at a time /once.

Thank you

When turning to the last page in a three-ring binder, you can't grab all the pages except for the last one and turn, like you can in a book. If you try to do it that way, some of the page holes will catch on the claws of the rings, and the binder will pop open. You've got to instead turn a few pages at a time carefully, so that the page holes don't catch on the ring claws.

  • If you're punching the holes in the paper for a three-ring binder, instead of using paper with pre-punched holes, the holes will not be perfectly aligned, like in paper with pre-punched holes, and you won't be able to put in a whole pack of paper like you can with pre-punched paper.
  • You'll have to put the pages into the binder one at a time.
